I don't celebrate Halloween...

and I haven't in many years.

I don't judge those who do.

If you're a mom like me &

you don't celebrate Halloween,

and feel like you're kids

think you're being a party pooper,

you can get creative in other ways.

Before you do the creative thing...

explain to your children why you're not celebrating .

One Halloween, I made crossword puzzles for my sons

of scriptures from our own bibe study that

I had with my sons at home.

I rewarded them with candy, or some small gift.

They didn't feel like they were missing anything.

We had a good time at home in God's word!

Do other things...like a movie night or

playing board games at home.

Food For Thought

As a young girl & early adulthood, I never knew what

this holiday was all about. I just followed what was passed

down to me. When I found out...I stopped celebrating.

Whenever you get involved in something...

know why you're doing it.

Research things for yourself.
