Just a reminder to mothers and/or aunts to give extra love
to your children and/or nieces and nephews.
All children are blessings to be treasured!
I saw & heard with my eyes & my own two ears over the weekend...
a mother cursing at her son as I left one store, while a toddler was in the back seat.
I then shortly after, pulled up at a grocery store at another location,
& saw a little girl crying about something. I heard bits and pieces.
Something about potato chips, and that everyone isn't going to be nice or like her.
There was a relative of the little girl, who demanded that she stopped crying
and began to use harsh foul language and explained to the
little girl about the other species, "male" species. It wasn't nice.
I couldn't believe any of it,
and immediately called my husband
to vent my disgust.
A poor innocent child listening to ignorance and probably feeling
some slight fear, of the relative's tone.
"How can a girl about 8 or 9 yrs. old understand someone else's foolishness?"
Some women really make it bad...
